Clinical Support Departments

The clinical support departments throughout Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, are key to ensuring the continued success of research across the Trust.

Where appropriate, relevant clinical support departments are fully consulted at the feasibility stage, to ensure that the teams are able to fully meet the demands of the individual research trial. Such early consultation ensures site initiation is timely, thus allowing the research team maximum opportunity to deliver to time and target.

Each clinical support department has dedicated research leads to ensure that service provision is consistent throughout the life cycle of the research.  These successful working relationships have ensured that complex clinical trials are delivered to pre-defined quality standards.
